Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress who is famous for her role in Hum Aapke Hai Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is among the most popular Indian actors. Her career began in the 80s before coming into prominence thanks to her character in the film Tezaab where she starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. The next time she appeared on the screen was in Dil alongside Aamir. As a child, the Mumbai-born dancer began learning at an early stage. At the age of 15, she started acting but struggled as many of her films were flops. Eventually, she found success in Indian filmmaking and rose to the top. She took a break from her profession following her marriage before returning to the industry of entertainment. Dixit played an important role in Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. Padma Shri - the fourth most highly regarded civilian award in India - was given to Dixit. Her social work is also well-known.
