MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global advancements into Latin pop scene. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was A Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. He also sang a duet on TINI's streaming popular single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in the musical home of his family. Both his elder brother and mom are also musicians. In interviews he has described participating in music as compulsory. He learned how to play the saxophone and guitar as well as ukulele and keyboard as the age of a small child. Though his original goal was to become veterinarian, his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from one of the Cuban.
