Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico with a family that was devoted to music. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, boleros from the past, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic shows. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16, under the direction by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a young student and professional, she was a part of many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana was also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation to keep this tradition vibrant.
